I had a job interview to go to yesterday, which led me to walking about six miles, rather more than I do on normal days. Today I'm strongly considering postponing a dentist's appointment that would require a (total) walk of about eight miles. If I can get a cab, and I don't know how likely or unlikely that is, I'll go, otherwise not. This is all within Manhattan, mind you. Going to another borough would be entirely out of the question.
