They&#8217;re pretty common on lawns and fields around New York City right now, and will be for the next month or so.  <\/p>\n<p>Other insect species seen today at Ridgewood Reservoir includedL<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue Dasher<\/li>\n<li>Comet Darner<\/li>\n<li>Familiar Bluet<\/li>\n<li>Summer Azure<\/li>\n<li>Monarch<\/li>\n<li>Silver-spotted Skipper<\/li>\n<li>Sachem Skipper<\/li>\n<li>Broad-winged Skipper<\/li>\n<li>Eastern Tiger Swallowtail<\/li>\n<li>Black Swallowtail<\/li>\n<li>American Lady<\/li>\n<li>Cabbage White<\/li>\n<li>Clouded Sulphur<\/li>\n<li>Orange Sulphur<\/li>\n<li>Long-legged Fly<\/li>\n<li>Carolina Grasshopper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;m still going through the photos.
