Apparently more people than I thought are reading this since someone actually noticed when I didn’t put up a moth yesterday. So a day late, here’s the weekly moth, another Underwing from Irvine Regional Park: <\/p>\n

I’m pretty sure the genus is Catocala, but there are several suggestions for the species. J.D. Roberts suggests<\/a> that Catocala californica<\/i>, Catocala cleopatra<\/i>, Catocala junctura<\/i>, Catocala luciana<\/i>, and Catocala francisca<\/i> are all possible. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
