We drove down into Panama City to visit Metropolitan Park, their &#8220;Central Park&#8221; though it&#8217;s much more wild than either Manhattan&#8217;s or Huntington Beach&#8217;s. We got some good birds here, and lucked into a really big mixed flock toward the end.  <\/p>\n<ol start='716'>\n<li> Gray-chested Dove <\/li>\n<li> \tYellow-crowned Parrot <\/li>\n<li>Forest Elaenia <\/li>\n<li> \tLance-tailed Manakin (a Panama endemic!)<\/li>\n<li> \tRufous-and-white Wren <\/li>\n<li> \tRed-crowned Ant-Tanager <\/li>\n<li> \tRufous-breasted Wren <\/li>\n<li> \tWhite-tipped Dove <\/li>\n<li> \tYellow-green Tyrannulet <\/li>\n<li> \tBright-rumped Attila <\/li>\n<li> \tOrange-billed Sparrow <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We also got the best looks I&#8217;ve ever had of Mourning Warbler and Kentucky Warbler, which for some reason seemed a lot less shy here than in New York.
