Normally The Colbert Report comes on after my bedtime. I usually fall asleep either before or during The Daily Show. However apparently it’s repeated at various times the following day, and yesterday I happened to catch it on my JetBlue flight to San Jose.<\/p>\n
This show is freaking hilarious!<\/strong> It’s not just a funny TV show like The Daily Show (which itself is pretty good). It’s on the same level as Clerks<\/cite> or There’s Something About Mary<\/cite>. I was laughing out loud in the plane. I’m sure all the passengers watching ESPN or FOX News thought I was nuts. The only other time this happened was when I first saw Coupling<\/cite> on a Virgin Atlantic flight to London. But Coupling runs four to eight shows a season<\/em>. The Colbert Report does four shows a week<\/em>!<\/p>\n If you haven’t seen The Colbert Report yet, by all means check it out. It’s broadcast at 11:30 P.M. on Comedy Central, and repeated the next day at 1:30 A.M, 10:30 A.M., 2:30 P.M., and 8:30 P.M. It’s also available on iTunes and several video clips<\/a> are on Comedy Central’s web site. (Windows Media only sadly) and BitTorrent has complete episodes<\/a>. If you haven’t seen it yet, plop yourself down in front of the TV and watch.
