Over the 8.1 kilometers there and back again (my GPS unit gives me relatively accurate counts of just how far I&#8217;ve travelled) I had 36 species:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Canada Goose  \t<\/li>\n<li>Gadwall \t<\/li>\n<li>American Wigeon \t<\/li>\n<li>Mallard \t<\/li>\n<li>Northern Shoveler \t<\/li>\n<li>Green-winged Teal \t<\/li>\n<li>Ruddy Duck \t<\/li>\n<li>Pied-billed Grebe \t2<\/li>\n<li>American White Pelican \t3<\/li>\n<li>Double-crested Cormorant \t6<\/li>\n<li>Great Blue Heron \t1<\/li>\n<li>Great Egret \t<\/li>\n<li>Turkey Vulture \t2<\/li>\n<li>White-tailed Kite \t2<\/li>\n<li>American Kestrel \t1<\/li>\n<li>American Coot \t<\/li>\n<li>Killdeer \t1<\/li>\n<li>Black-necked Stilt \t<\/li>\n<li>American Avocet \t<\/li>\n<li>Lesser Yellowlegs \t1<\/li>\n<li>Rock Pigeon \t<\/li>\n<li>Mourning Dove \t<\/li>\n<li>Anna&#8217;s Hummingbird \t1<\/li>\n<li>Black Phoebe \t<\/li>\n<li>American Crow \t<\/li>\n<li>Northern Rough-winged Swallow \t<\/li>\n<li>Bushtit \t<\/li>\n<li>Marsh Wren \t<\/li>\n<li>European Starling \t<\/li>\n<li>Yellow-rumped Warbler \t<\/li>\n<li>California Towhee \t1<\/li>\n<li>White-crowned Sparrow \t<\/li>\n<li>Golden-crowned Sparrow \t<\/li>\n<li>Red-winged Blackbird \t<\/li>\n<li>Western Meadowlark \t<\/li>\n<li>House Finch \t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope these all show up tomorrow, but we&#8217;ll probably miss a few, and pick up a few more.
