BugGuide Firsts
In a few cases I’ve been the first person to find a species for BugGuide. These include:
- Dicymolomia opuntialis – Hodges#4891 (opuntialis)
- Aglossa cacamica – Hodges#5514. This is also the first live image for the Moth Photographer’s Group.
- Octinodes schaumi
- Pandeleteius defectus
- Blister Beetle (Eupompha elegans elegans) (First instance of this subspecies)
- Chalcedon Checkerspot Euphydryas chalcedona hennei (First instance of this subspecies)
- Unciella primula – Hodges#10111. This is also the first live image for the Moth Photographer’s Group.
- Beetle: Megobrium edwardsi
- Paravilla montivaga
- Polystepha globosa
- Andromeda Lace Bug (Stephanitis takeyai)
